We are pleased to invite you to the 4th annual IIA Canada National Conference, “Shaping the Future”, which will be held from September 25-28, 2011, at the Sheraton Centre in downtown Toronto.
Building on the excitement and success of the previous conferences, we have an exceptional line-up of informative sessions and activities that reflect a professional and progressive perspective across all phases of internal audit. The Toronto organizing committee has drawn upon the diverse background and expertise of its Conference Planning Committee, CAEs, Audit Committee members and IIA members to put together a conference that is broad in scope, rich in substance, ambitious in reach and grounded in relevance.
- Our keynote speakers are topical and entertaining.
- In order to better meet your learning needs and interests, we have expanded the number of tracks to include a greater range and depth of topics as well as industry specific content.
- We have reorganized the conference to make it easier for you to select, and find, the sessions that you want to attend. Broad themes are woven throughout the various plenary and symposia presentations, workshops, and abstracts sessions, allowing you to focus on a particular special track of interest, or sample a wide range of topics.
- ALE (previously FOCAL) will continue to grow and be responsive to the needs of Canadian internal audit leaders.
